It’s crazy to me, how quickly the last 10 years have gone by. Watching one of your favorite people grow from a baby to a toddler to a child to a pre-teen is just this wild, nonsensical experience. In the past decade, this young man has been an example of the most pure love, and watching him walk through life with such tenderness, kindness, and deep curiosity has been a steady and gentle reminder to pay attention. Slow down. Appreciate these moments while you’re inside of them. And take photos! Always, always take photos. They will matter so much later, as memories fade and life marches on.
