The champions

Winning your first championship in Pomona at the NHRA Finals…. Could there be ANYTHING better in the wonderful world of drag racing? Congratulations to the Super Stock NHRA world champion Wyatt Wagner, and my heartfelt congratulations to each of the champions who raced their hearts out this year in the Lucas Oil Series and ultimately came out on top. To the champs and to those who raced alongside them, you guys are my heroes, and my life is a thousand times better because I get to watch and learn from all of you.

What you’re doing out there shows dedication and drive, grit and humility, discipline and resilience. It’s a wonderful example of digging deep and finding strength, striving for excellence and being resilient enough to bounce back when you miss and fall hard. Most racers are just good humans doing a really hard thing, and I stand in awe of what you can and will accomplish.

There are trophies yet to claim, though. It’s raceday at the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals…. I can’t wait to see what happens.
